Signs of war Gary Ogborn, left, decided after watching Wednesday night's events that the only organized demonstrations taking place throughout the nation were against President Bush and the war, while polls showed many Americans are in favor of what Bush is doing. So Ogborn, who was reluctant to give his name because he does not want to draw attention to himself as only one person in support of the war, took his American flag and a sign to the corner of Center and State streets in Orem. After two hours, he said, only one woman showed disagreement to him. In other areas around Utah County, a group calling itself Young Americans Against War showed a different opinion earlier Thursday by spray-painting symbols on the Provo Daily Herald building, right. Managing Editor Earl Biederman said the damage was minimal. A letter left behind says the group is comprised of conscientious young Americans who believe oil is not worth one drop of American blood.
