Four foreign oil workers were kidnapped Friday by leftist terrorists in northern Colombia, police said.

The guerrillas briefly held about 100 workers at the site outside Zaragoza, then proceeded to destroy equipment and pipeline worth an estimated $2.5 million, police in Antioquia department said.The four taken off by the terrorists, believed to be with the Simon Bolivar rebels, included three French engineers and a French-Colombian. Two other foreign oil workers were kidnapped earlier this year.
