Pages Lane Theatre, 292 E. Pages Lane, Centerville, will hold auditions on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. for its March-April production of "Papa Married A Mormon," being directed by Ralph Rodgers.

There are roles for men and women, 25-60 years of age; young men and women, 18-22, and children, 9-14. Auditioners will be asked to do cold readings from the script.The play, written by Charles Whitman, a BYU professor, and based on J.D. Fitzgerald's book about growing up in a Mormon/

Catholic household, will open March 8 and continue through April 22.

The comedy/drama tells of timeless family values - tolerance, love and cooperation - as it chronicles the struggles, successes, joys and sorrows of the Fitzgerald family about the turn of the century in Silverlode, Utah Territory.

Author Fitzgerald is well known for his "Great Brain" series of books.
