Belva Batty Varney age 80 died January 15, 1991 in American Fork, Utah.
Born Nov. 18, 1910 in Wallsburg, Utah, the daughter of Ephriam Albert and Polly Anna Lamb Batty. Married Neldon Earl Varney December 8, 1936 in Nephi, Utah. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was a member of the American Fork Fireladies Auxiliary for many years, a member of the American Fork 27th LDS Ward and worked in the Alpine School Lunch program for 17 years.Survived by one son and three daughters; Gary N. Varney, Mrs. Garth (Echo) Christiansen, Mrs. Robert (Kay) Hall and Mrs. Craig (Jill) Roberts all of American Fork; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother Carl Batty, Daniels; and one sister Vilate Wall, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. Preceded in death by a daughter and a granddaughter.
Funeral Services will be Friday 2 p.m. in the American Fork 3rd Ward, 200 West 300 North. Friends may call Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North, Thursday 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to service at the church. Burial, American Fork Cemetery
