Mary Emma Camp Curdy, 83, died January 13, 1991 in Salt Lake City.
She was born January 7, 1908 in Clyde Park, Montana to James William and Eliza Christie Camp. Married Robert William Curdy, June 1, 1934 in Clyde Park, Montana. Their marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Idaho Falls Temple. Mabel was raised on a ranch west of Clyde Park. She graduated from Park County High in 1927. Graduate of Western Montana Normal College. Taught in Cokedale, Muir, Ennis, Cameron, Whitehall and Deer Lodge, Montana. Active in the PTA and National Cancer Society and Womens Club. Active in the LDS Church holding leadership positions in Primary and Relief Society. She spent her later years in St. George, Utah and moved to Salt Lake in 1988.She is survived by her husband, R. William Curdy; two sons, Richard and Ronald; one daughter, Alice Whitmore, Sandy; 21 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Josephine West; brother, James S. Camp; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sister, Elsie Gardner.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 18, 1991 at 11 a.m. at the Donken-Nelson Funeral Home, 113 South Wilson Avenue, Bozeman, Montana, 59175. Interment: Bozeman Cemetery. Salt Lake Funeral Directors: Mackay Cottonwood Mortuary.
