Tsuneko "Mary" Morio Takemori, age 78, passed away January 14, 1991.
Born July 6, 1912 in Richfield, Utah to Tsunemichi Morio and Masa Yoshitomi Morio. Married Frank Sadamaro Takemori, September 25, 1931 in Seattle, Washington. He passed away March 21, 1958. She was a loving and caring grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She loved watching and participating in all types of sports, but her main love in her later years was bowling. She actively participated in several leagues. Retired from Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She gave generously of her time and energy to help others who had special needs.Survived by her sisters and brother, Lily Chiba, Seattle, Washington; Michi Mano, Kobe, Japan; Noboru Morio, Bell View, Washington; Sachie Kano, Roy; grandchildren, Rick Takemori and his wife, Michelle, Murray; Jeal Davis and her husband, Dennis, Centerville; Alan Takemori, Sandy; Bret Takemori, San Diego, California; Kirk Takemori and his wife, Tracey, North Wales, Pennsylvania; Travis Takemori and his wife, Camille, Kimm Takemori, all Salt Lake City; 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, her only son, Fred, and a brother, Henry.
Funeral Services Saturday, January 19, 1991, 11 a.m., Mackay Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, where friends may call Friday evening 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, one hour prior to services. Interment: Salt Lake City Cemetery. Funeral Directors: Mackay Deseret Mortuary.
