Marko A. Yengich, 75, died January 14, 1991 at home.
Born October 15, 1915 in Bingham Canyon, Utah to Mike and Roza O'Brodovich Yengich. He married Mary A. Pasquali in Bingham Canyon, Utah on September 18, 1945. Member of Catholic Church. He retired after 42 years in various positions at Kennecott Copper Corporation. Member of the Mine Mill and Smelter Workers Local #485; he also served as president and then as secretary of the Croation Fraternal Union #368 until his death. A very giving man who quit school to help raise his brothers and sisters after his father's death. Marko was a loving husband and a devoted father who will be tremendously missed.Survivors: wife, Mary, Sandy; sons and daughters, Mark (Tony), Marie and son-in-law Doug Taylor, Michael, all Sandy; Rose Ann and son-in-law, Andy Dunn; Anita Louise, both Denver, Colorado; four grandchildren, Shay and Shon Taylor, Lindsey and Justin Dunn; sister, Rose Roth, Lake Village, Arkansas; Ann Kosovich and Mrs. Ben (Kate) Roth, Sandy. Preceded in death by brothers, Tom, John, Nick, Mike and sister, Ruby.
Funeral mass Thursday, January 17, 1991, at 10 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9757 South 1700 East. Vigil service Wednesday 7 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
