Patrick Poulin is the new director of the Travelers Aid Society, a non-profit organization that offers employment referrals, food, housing, health care and transportation to the needy.

Poulin's social-service background included work in Mali, West Africa; case management for Salt Lake Valley Mental Health; and project coordination for Crossroads Urban Center. He is an Eccles Fellow at the University of Utah, where he's completing a degree in administration and clinical social work.He has completed internships at Pioneer Valley Hospital, Tooele Counseling Intervention Center and the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C.
