Beginning tonight and running through Friday, KUED-Ch. 7 will rerun Ken Burns' wonderful series "The Civil War."

However, here's a word of warning for anyone planning to videotape the series - this is pledge week at KUED, meaning the proceedings will be interrupted each night for pledge breaks. The good news is that, with the exception of tonight's installment, those pledge breaks will come between segments of "The Civil War." (Although it runs over five nights, it's actually a nine-part series - Part 1 is about two hours long, the other eight each runs approximately one hour.) And the folks at KUED promise that tonight's interruption will come at a "non-intrusive point."

Here's a rundown of scheduled times for all nine parts of "The Civil War" and a pair of accompanying programs - a look at Burns and a two-part interview with historian Shelby Foote - as well as the scheduled time of the show that follows.
