Jennis Pratt Allred, 86, died January 12, 1991 in Provo, Utah.
Born April 14, 1904 in Spring City to Isaac Pratt and Matilda Isabell Blain Allred. Married Edna Miller September 28, 1926 in the Manti LDS Temple. She passed away June 15, 1975. Married Gladys Gribble Nielson April 29, 1978 in the Manti Temple. He was a rancher and farmer, noted for his outstanding quarter horse and cutting horses. Past Manti City Councilman, member of the Manti Riding Club, Sanpete County King Cowboy, certified Show Horse Judge. High Priest in the Manti 1st LDS Ward. Served a mission with wife, Gladys at the Manti Temple Visiter's Center. Member of the National Gaurd.Survived by his wife; one son, Blain and wife Dellene Allred, Magna; one daughter-in-law, Karma, Manti; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one brother, Donald Allred, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by one son and one daugher, Glen and Margie Allred.
Funeral services Wednesday, 1 p.m., in the Manti 1st-2nd LDS Ward, where friends call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, two hours prior to services. Interment in the Manti City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Buchanan Mortuary, Manti.
