Marie Helen Stuart, age 84, died January 13, 1991 at Salt Lake LDS Hospital.

Born June 20, 1906, in Rockford, Illinois a daughter of Alba A. and Ella Wilhelmson Stuart. Attended grade school and the Oneida Stake Academy in Preston, Idaho, and one year at the old LDS High School in Salt Lake City. Graduated from the University of Utah with a BA in Education. Taught school for 45 years in Monroe, Utah, Granite and Salt Lake City School Districts. Active member of the LDS Church where she taught in Sunday School, Mutual, and Relief Society. Served on the Ensign Stake Sunday School Board; Relief Society counselor in the Ensign 3rd Ward; and served 23 years on the MIA General Board under Bertha S. Reeder and Florence Jacobsen. She fulfilled an LDS mission in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was a Pink Lady at LDS Hospital and traveled extensively after her retirement. Her life was centered around helping others to be happy and in doing good. She made friends wherever she went.She is survived by one brother, Willis M. Stuart of Salt Lake City.

Funeral services Wednesday, January 16th, at 12 Noon, in the Ensign 3rd Ward Chapel, 465 K Street, where friends may call Wednesday from 10:45 am -11:45 am. Interment in the Salt Lake City Cemetery under the direction of Larkin Mortuary.
