Franz Heinzer of Switzerland scored his second World Cup downhill victory of the season on Saturday, winning the Kitzbuehel Streif. Heinzer finished in 1:58.71, ahead of Italian Peter Runggaldier (1:58.78) and Canadian Rob Boyd (1.59.44).

Also at Kitzbuehel, Marc Girardelli of Luxembourg scored a triple victory Sunday by winning the World Cup slalom ski race. The victory also gave Girardelli the combined title and the lead in the overall standings.And at Kranjska Gora, Yugoslavia, Petra Kronberger of Austria broke out of a short slump Sunday, winning the women's slalom and expanding her overall lead in the World Cup standings.
