Gerald R. Aubery, age, 71, died January 12, 1991 in Salt Lake City of acute lukemia.

Born October 18, 1919 in Manchester, England to Fred and Nellie Yeadon Aubery. Married Doreen Stevens December 24, 1942. Sealed in the London LDS Temple September 10, 1958. He was a veteran of WW II, served in the British Army from 1940-46. Second Vice President of Zions Bank, retired. Convert to the LDS Church in 1950. Served in many church leadership positions, diligently, in England and in the U.S. Immigrated to the U.S. in 1964, became a U.S. citizen in 1985. Temple worker in Salt Lake, Jordan River, and London temples. Served 18 month LDS mission with his beloved wife in the London Temple, 1986-87. Life time of service to others. He was dearly loved by nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Devoted husband, exemplary father, dedicated servant of the Lord.Survived by wife; daughter, Susan Johnson, Cheyenne, Wyo.; son, Stephen, West Valley.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 15, 1991, at 1 p.m., at the Welby 1st Ward, 7965 South 40th West, where friends may call Tuesday, from 12 to 1 p.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary.
