Lourens Rhynsburger, age 70, died January 11, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born May 14, 1920 in Leiden, Holland to Lourens and Maria BertramRhijnsburger. Married Maria Schild on July 3, 1946 in Holland and solemnized in Salt Lake LDS Temple; later divorced. Married Nancy Powell Frost on September 18, 1972, Salt Lake LDS Temple.Prisoner of War in 1940. Member of Carpenters Union # 184. High Priest in the 31st LDS Ward, Park Stake and has served as a stake missionary. Member of the Olympus Male Chorus.

Survived by his wife Nancy of Salt Lake City; a daughter, Mrs. Yvonne R. Low of Sandy, Utah; two sons, Rennie Lourens and Wendell William, both of Salt Lake City; six step-children, Mrs. Charlene Pedersen, West Jordan, Utah; Mrs. Lucille Davis, Sandy, Utah; Mrs Yvonne Manning, Garland, Utah; Kenneth Frost, Sandy, Utah, Lemar Frost, California; and Melvyn Frost, Salt Lake City; four grandchildren and 36 step-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Oke (Kay) Rogers, Ogden, Utah; and Johanna (Annie) Rhynsburger, California; a brother, Joseph W. Rhynsburger, St. George, Utah.

Funeral services on Monday, January 14th at 12 noon, in Sandy, Utah at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, where friends may call Sunday evening 6-8 pm and Monday, the hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to LDS Missionary Fund.
