Harold William "Bill" Green, 77, died January 11, 1991, of heart failure.

He was born March 6, 1913, in Salt Lake City, Utah to William and Elizabeth Thomas Green. Married Marjorie Powers February 26, 1938, in Salt Lake City. Graduated from East High School, University of Utah. Worked 42 years at Tribune/Newspaper Agency Corporation, first as photoengraver and later as quality control manager. Member, International Photo Engravers Union. Avid sportsman, golfer.Bill enjoyed life. He loved his family and cherished his many lifelong friendships. He will be remembered for his good humor, kindness, patience, common sense and generosity. His love and caring added immeasurably to the lives of friends and family, and he will be missed.

He is survived by his wife, Salt Lake City; sons, Dennis W. (wife, Diane), Summit Park; Jerrold T., Salt Lake City; brother, Dr. Ray E., Salt Lake City; grandchildren, Lisa M. Green, Syracuse, N.Y.; Wendy Cropper (husband, Bradley), Salt Lake City; Erin Green, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.

Graveside services Monday, January 14th, 1:30 pm, at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Monday, from 12 Noon - 1pm.
