The body of a man found on a Great Salt Lake beach Tuesday has been identified, but the Salt Lake County sheriff's office will not release his name until they can locate next of kin.

The body of the man, 27, was found washed up on the beach in the Great Salt Lake State Park.Lt. Ben Forbes said the victim, an Indian originally from the Minnesota-Michigan area, had been living in Salt Lake City since the first of the year.

Medical examiners found water in the victim's lung, indicating he may have drowned. But a toxicology exam must be made before an official cause of death can be released.
