Evelyn Maxine Noland Pickens, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandma, age 71, passed away January 10, 1991 at her home in Salt Lake City.
Born June 25, 1919 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Elmer and Elizabeth Brown Noland. Her parents passed away when she was 5 years old, and she was raised by her brother and his wife, Hallie and Flora Noland.She moved from Bartlesville to Salt Lake to marry Kenneth S. Pickens July 3, 1938. She was an active member and enjoyed serving on the Board of Directors, for the W.I.B.C. Bowling Association from 1975-90. Her activities included bowling, bridge, camping, fishing, hunting, and various activities with family and friends. She made many lasting and loving friends in all the activities she was involved in.
Survived by her husband, Kenneth S.; two daughters and one son, Roberta Webb and her husband, Dale; Mary Francis (Frankie) Biesinger; Kenneth W. Pickens and his wife, Julie; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by seven brothers.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m., Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, where friends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
