Owen Robert Naegle, passed away on Jan. 8, 1991 in Apply Valley, Calif.
He was born in 1899, in Oaxaca, Sonora, Mexico, in a Mormon Colony and came to Douglas, Arizona when he was 13. His grandfather was John Conrad Naegle, a veteran of the Mormon Battalion and a follower of Brigham Young. A family home remains in Toquerville, Utah now a historical monument. Mr. Naegle was an electrician, employed by the L.A. Dept. of Water and Power. He was a 53 year member of the Masonic Temple. He retired in 1962 to live in Apple Valley, Calif.Survived by his sister, Verna Thomas, Burbank, Calif; sons, Robert O. Naegle, Roseville, Calif.; and Dale W. Naegle, La Jolla, Calif; four granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; stepdaughter; two stepgrandsons; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 18 years, Martha L. Naegle on November 20, 1990.
A memorial service will be held in Apply Valley, Calif. on Jan.11, 991. Interment, Apple Valley, Calif.
