A Salt Lake City airport operations manager has been accepted as a professional member of the American Association of Airport Executives.

Alvin L. Stuart is now one of 245 airport managers permitted to use the title of Accredited Airport Executive. In order to qualify for the honor, Stuart was required to demonstrate to the association's board a knowledge of airport management, business, and general transportation economics.

AAAE was founded in 1928 and is comprised of 1,500 members. The association serves as a clearinghouse for the exchange of information on airport administration.
