Glen Ellsworth Sander, age 74, passed away suddenly on December 28, 1990 in Venice.
He was born July 19, 1916 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a son of Walter Christopher and Mary Whiting Sander. Married Phyllis Higgins in 1944 in Salt Lake City and later divorced. Veteran of World War II and served in the Merchant Marine. After release from Merchant Marine he worked for Robinson Lyons Ford Company in San Francisco, California and Seattle, Washington for many years. He moved to Sarasota and Venice in 1974 where he worked for The Men's Shop for 16 years.He is survived by one brother, LeRoy Dee Sander, White City, Oregon; five sisters, Dora Sander Gray, Marva Sander DeHaan, both of Salt Lake City; Viola Erickson Wolfe, Althea Robinson Schwarz, both of Bellevue, Washington; and Melva Sander Westra, Redmond, Washington.
Funeral services in Salt Lake City on Friday, January 11th, at 1 pm, Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call the hour prior to services. Burial, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
