The Utah School Boards Association will hold its 68th annual meeting Friday and Saturday, Jan. 11 and 12, in the Little America Hotel, 500 S. Main St.
Stephen Studdert, management consultant and administrator in the Bush and Reagan administrations, will be keynote speaker.Other speakers will be Utah Superintendent Jay B. Taggart; Jeannine M. Henry, associate executive director, South Carolina School Boards Association; Gov. Norm Bangerter; Brad Greene, author and nationally known motivational speaker; and Dan Clark, president of Dan Clark Co.
Workshop presenters will be Greene; Woody Clayton of Granite School District; Kolene Granger and Bruce Griffin of the State Office of Education; sergeants Randy Pond and Ed Spann of the West Valley Police Department; Jennifer Kranz of Murray District; and Gary Carlston, Logan District.
Awards will be presented to outstanding teachers and media representatives during a banquet Friday evening.
