Wilma A. McGregor, age 87, died Jan. 6, 1991.
Born Feb. 17, 1903 in Vesta, Minnesota, daughter of Henry J. Arnold and Tillie Hoppenrath Arnold. Married Frazer McGregor in 1925 in Stanley, North Dakota; he died Dec. 11, 1987.Graduated Phi Beta Kappa from University of Minnesota and was a member of Pi Lambda Theta, Lambda Alpha Psi and Alpha Omicron Pi. Member of Kappa Sigma Wives, Phi Delta and Kappa Mothers Club. Also a member of the Grey Ladies. Volunteer at Cottonwood Hospital for 13 years. Life member of College Club. Past Matron of Order of the Eastern Star. Member of First Presbyterian Church since 1937, where she was a deacon and was made an Honorary Ecumenical Missionary Member. Active in Church Women United.
Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Douglas A. and Kristin McGregor, daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Peter Dowse, all of Salt Lake City; five grandchildren, Karin, Douglas, and John McGregor, and Robert and Michael Dowse.
Memorial services 12 noon Thursday, Jan. 10, at First Presbyterian Church, 12 North "C" Street. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions may be made to Hospice of Salt Lake, or College Club Westminster Endowment Fund. Funeral directors, Evans & Early Mortuary.
