Helen Alfonda Bagley Winget, 84, died January 6, 1991 in Cedar City, Utah.
She was born June 21, 1906 in Greenwich, Utah to Edward Alma and Christena Torgersen Bagley. She married Lynn S. Winget, January 7, 1928 in Richfield, Utah. Marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on June 28, 1928. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served as a Primary teacher and Sunday School teacher for 32 years; Relief Society president for 12 years and on a quilting committee. She also enjoyed serving on the Grass Valley Old Folks Committee for over 20 years.Survivors: husband, Greenwich, Utah; daughter, Mrs. Van (Marva) Esplin, Cedar City; three grandchildren, Wayne Esplin, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Ray (Karen) Bentley, Cedar City; Ronald Esplin, Phoenix, Arizona; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11 a.m. in the Koosharem LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call Tuesday evening 6-7 p.m. at the Southern Utah Mortuary in Cedar City and Thursday morning from 9:30 to time of service at the Koosharem LDS Ward Chapel. Interment: Cedar City Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
