Our beloved son and father, Frank Clinton VanHouten, 53, passed away on Saturday, January 5, 1991 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City.
He was born June 11, 1937 in Grand Junction, Colorado, the son of Clinton W. and Stella Mae Haller VanHouten. He moved to Utah in 1942. Attended Weber State College and graduated from the University of Utah. He then went to Officer Candidate School in Rhode Island and served in the Navy for five years as a Lieutenant. He retired from the Utah Department of Transportation after 20 years. He was a member of the Masonic Order.Surviving are his mother, Ogden; two daughters, Brenda Jessop and Korin VanHouten, both of Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren; preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call at the Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Saturday in Fruita, Colorado.
