Margaret Louise Madigan, age 91, died January 7, 1991 in Sandy.
She was born January 30, 1899 in New York, New York to Michael Joseph and Anna Louise Seagers Madigan. Married and divorced. Margaret graduated from Bryant High School, Queens, New York; attended two years M & B Business College, two years Berlitz School of Languages, eight years Halpern School of Music, all in Manhattan, New York. She was a secretary, and later a corporate officer at General Bronze Corporation. She sang on WOR Radio Station and served on the Advisory Committee for the United Fund. Margaret was a member of the Catholic Church and a former resident, for 75 years, of Flushing, New York.Survivors: son, William (Bill) Madigan and his wife, Jane, Sandy; grandsons, Richard and Kevin Madigan, Long Island, New York; five great-grandchildren; brother, Fred Madigan and wife, Virginia, New Fairfield, Conn.
Funeral mass will be held Wednesday, January 9, 1991, at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9800 South 1700 East. Wake service Tuesday, January 8, 1991 at 7 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, where friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. Interment, Mount Saint Mary's Cemetery, Flushing, New York.
