Clarence Stanley Wolfley, age 63, died January 6, 1991, at a Murray hospital of a sudden heart attack.

Born December 11, 1927, in Murray, Utah to Christian Ivory and Zapparah Welch Wolfley. Married Mary Elkins July 17, 1948, in Salt Lake City; solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, 1975. Veteran World War II. Member LDS Church. Served in bishopric, as athletic director for ward and stake, Elders Quorum presidency, and regional athletic director. Active in UTE Conference Football, Babe Ruth Baseball League, supported his grandchildren in all activities. They were his life, along with his four children.Survived by his wife, Murray; sons and daughters, Michael and wife, Joni, Steve and wife, Debi, Jana and husband, Perry Tucker, Christine and husband, Ron McNeill; nine grandchildren; brother and sister, Edward L., Salt Lake City; Dorothy Benik, Ogden. Preceded in death by brothers, Delbert and Harold. He will be especially missed by his grandchildren, his summer fishing trips with his grandsons and his many dance and music recitals with his granddaughters. We love and miss you grandpa, Melinda, Bryan, Joey, Heather, Marci, Megan, Melissa, Becky, Tyler.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., Murray 11th Ward, 5750 Nena Way. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Thursday, at the church, one hour prior to service. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
