Eda Parkinson Anderson, 83, passed away January 6, 1991 at her home.

Born Hyrum, Utah, March 30, 1907, to William C. and Ellen Elvira Nash Parkinson. Married A. J. Anderson, June 28, 1933 in Salt Lake LDS Temple. Taught home economics and drama in Fairview and Ogden schools. Teacher, Ward and Stake President of YWMIA. Regional President of YWMIA for four stakes. Teacher and Stake President of the Relief Society. Served temple mission with her husband for six years, during which time she was a supervisor and assistant matron. Helped provide 25,000 names for the name extraction program. Received Honorary Golden Gleaner Award. Was gifted in writing poetry and song lyrics. Directed many plays for church and school. Talented seamstress and handwork creator. Enjoyed working with flowers and grounds around her home.Survived by husband, and daughter, Mrs. Glade W. (Virginia) Mower, Fairview; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services Thursday, January 10, 12 Noon, Fairview First Ward Chapel. Friends call Ursenbach Funeral Home Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the ward chapel one hour prior to services. Interment: Fairview City Cemetery.
