Dr. Hunter John Hall Fry, a plastic surgeon from Melbourne, Australia, and an internationally known researcher and lecturer on overuse injuries in performing musicians, will lecture at Brigham Young University on Friday, Jan. 11. His free address, "Riding the Risk of Performance Injury: Recognition in the '80s, Prevention in the '90s," is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the Madsen Recital Hall, Harris Fine Arts Center.

Fry, who has published 50 major research articles in both medical and music journals, is a member of the Music in Medicine Task Force of the International Society for Music Education and the International Advisory Council of the International Association of Music for the Handicapped. He is the Australian representative to the International Arts Medicine Association.
