Services are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Monday for Clara Elizabeth Bartlett Morrill, who died Jan. 2, 1991, of natural causes in Bountiful.
Mrs. Morrill, who held the alternate Utah Mother of the Year title in 1963 and who would have been 94 on Jan. 13, died at the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Lou Ann and Norm Angus, where she had lived for the past 12 years.Services will be held in the North Canyon 7th Ward LDS chapel, 3350 S. 100 East, Bountiful.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main St., and one hour before services at the chapel Monday. Memorial services also will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Tridell chapel in Tridell, Uintah County. Burial will be in the Tridell Cemetery.
Mrs. Morrill was born in 1897 in Vernal to George H. and Clara L. Bingham Bartlett and was one of the early pioneers in Tridell. Her parents moved to that area in 1908.
She was a homemaker and was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all her life, having served in the presidencies of the Relief Society and Primary and as secretary in the Young Women's Mutual Improvement Association. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
