To the editor:
I'd like to publicly express my appreciation to everyone in the community who helped the Center for Women and Children in Crisis in 1990. Our thanks to the Quilting Guild and all others for the many quilts that have been made and donated, giving comfort to numerous children; the citizens who call and contribute to meet the needs of our clients; those who think of us when doing an Eagle Scout project; and to the many who provide Christmas for our clients and their children. Also, thanks to the other professionals who work with abused women and their children who really care and go the extra mile trying to help them. Last but not least, I'd like to thank all of the people in the community who quietly donate hundreds of volunteer hours to agencies, serving without pay and often not enough thanks and recognition, making it possible for us to operate and fulfill our missions.
Our warmest appreciation and thanks to each and every one of you.
