Several people remained in hospitals Saturday as a result of injuries suffered in fog-related traffic pileups Wednesday in the Salt Lake area.
The condition of Glendeana Wood, 49,of West Valley City, who had been in serious but stable condition, was upgraded to fair condition Friday, and she was moved out of intensive care at LDS Hospital.Wood's husband, Richard D. Wood, 52, and her mother-in-law, Glenda Wood, 80, of Monticello, died earlier this week from injuries they suffered.
Bob Higley, 48, also of West Valley City, remained in critical but stable condition in intensive care Saturday at LDS Hospital.
Gregory Williams, 25, of Clearfield, was in fair condition Saturday and is out of intensive care at the same hospital.
Lynn Fulton, 32, of Salt Lake City, was moved out of intensive care Friday and was in stable condition Saturday at University Hospital.
Arvil Carter, 65, of Salt Lake City, was released Friday from Lakeview Hospital, Bountiful, and Semisi Fiefia, 35, also of Salt Lake City, was in fair condition Saturday at Lakeview.
