Jean Matheson Bulloch, 81, passed away January 5, 1991 in Cedar City, Utah.
Born August 21, 1909 to David Albert and Elizabeth Mickelson Matheson in Parowan, Utah. Married Henry McConnell Bulloch, her sweetheart, on August 6, 1937 in Beaver, Utah; marriage later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. She was raised and educated in Parowan, a place she loved all of her life. She was very active in the LDS Church and served in numerous position in the Relief Society, Primary and MIA. She and her husband worked many years in the St. George LDS Temple. She worked at the Iron County Court House in Parowan, after which, she was a wife, mother and grandmother. She also worked for her sons at Bulloch Brothers Engineering in Cedar City, Utah.She is survived by her husband, Cedar City; four children, Scott Matheson, St. George; Henry (Matt); Mrs. Stan (Betty Jean) Slack; and Mrs. Keith (Minty) Lasson, all of Cedar City; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Scott (Skinner), Parowan; Victor, Cedar City; Mrs. Tobe (Beth) Leigh, Yerington, Nev.; Mrs. Arden (Nellie) Hirschi, St. George. Preceded in death by seven brothers and a granddaugther.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 1 p.m., in the Cedar City Rock Church. Friends may call Monday, from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Southern Utah Mortuary in Cedar City. Interment will be in the Cedar City Cemetery.
