Nettie Vashti McDonald Burdick, 86 of Payson, died Saturday, January 5, 1991 at Mountain View Hospital in Payson.

She was born December 14, 1904 at Heber City, a daughter of Isaac and Ida Clift McDonald. She married Quince M. Burdick, September 16, 1922 at Provo. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Provo LDS Temple. She was educated in Heber City schools, graduating from Wasatch High School. She was active in many civic organizations. She was talented in floral arranging and handwork. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints having served in the Relief Society organization for many years.She is survived by her husband of Payson; two sons, Donald M. and Robert A. Burdick both of Payson; six grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; brother and two sisters, Richard D. McDonald and June Spainhower both of Payson and Ruby Compton of Heber City.

A son, Michael Burdick; great-granddaughter; two brothers and 4 sisters all preceded her in death.

Services will be Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. in the Payson Third LDS Ward Chapel, 195 North Main Street. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Monday 6-8:00 p.m. or Tuesday 10-10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Payson City Cemetery.
