Norma Criddle, 78, died Thursday, January 3, 1991, at her home in Morgan following an extended illness.
Norma was born October 4, 1912 in Littleton, Morgan County, to William Edward and Cynthia Wilcox Criddle. She graduated from Morgan High School in 1931, Weber College in 1934, and the University of utah in 1944. She was a teacher, librarian, and counselor in Morgan schools form 1935 to 1974. She was a member of the LDS Church and held many important positions as a teacher and leader throughout her life.She enjoyed history and did extensive genealogy research.
She is survived by one sister and two brothers, LaMar Criddle Olsen, Morgan; George Henry Criddle, Ukia, Calif.; Gerald Ross Criddle, Bountiful; nine nieces and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Monday, at 11 .m., in the Morgan Stake Chapel, 355 North 700 East, with Bishop Wendell Rose of the Morgan 6th Ward officiating. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Morgan, 45 West 200 North, Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment, Milton Cemetery.
