Sharon Harper Byrd, 32, of Mesa, Arizona, former resident of Pleasant Grove, died January 1, 1990 in Mesa following an auto accident.
She was born February 19, 1958 in Provo, Utah to Max E. and Dora Whiteley Harper.She married Richard Byrd May 4, 1978 in Green River, Wyoming. She was a member of the LDS Church. She spent her childhood days and attended school in Pleasant Grove graduating from Pleasant Grove High School and Seminary.
First and foremost she was a wife and mother. He husband and children were the light of her life.
She helped with a Baskin Robbins Ice Cream Shop in Mesa.
She is survived by her husband; two sons and two daughters, Bryan, Rachelle, Shaundra and Brandon, all of Mesa, Ariz.; her mother, Pleasant Grove; three brothers and one sister, Terry W. Harper, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Steve (Launa) Johnson; and Michael W. Harper, both Pleasant Grove; Kevin W. Harper, Provo. She was preceded in death by her father and a son, Richard Brian Byrd.
Services will be Monday, 11 a.m., at the Grove Ward, 400 East 200 South, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call Sunday, from 6-8 p.m. at Olpin Family Mortuary, 500 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, or Monday at the church, one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
