Millard Wilde, 87, of Provo, died Wednesday, January 3, 1991 in Provo, Utah.
He was born October 20, 1903 in Coalville, Utah, a son of Edwin and Mary Hannah Robinson Wilde. He married Rowena Gale December 31, 1928 in Coalville. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He left Utah in 1937 for Southern California. He returned to St. George from 1972-1978. He returned to Provo in 1987. He was a rancher most of his life. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served in several Bishoprics and was a Branch President. He served a mission with his wife Rowena in Western Canada from 1960-62.He is survived by two sons and two daughters, Lynn Wilde, St. George, Utah; Howard Wilde, Nampa, Idaho; Mrs. C. Jess (Sharon) Groesbeck, Provo; Mrs. Lorin (Gale) Weber, Rexberg, Idaho; 31 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Fred Wilde, Coalville. He was preceded by a son, Millard Edwin Wilde.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 7, at 1 p.m. in the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State, Orem. Where friends may call Monday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to services.
Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
