March V. Hopkins died peacefully Wednesday, January 2, 1991 at the age of 97.

He was born March 5, 1893 in Rexburg, Idaho to Daniel and Mathilda Fogelberg Hopkins. He married Letitia Ann Browning October 13, 1913. She died May 10, 1987. During the years he lived and worked in Rexburg, he was active in Masonic Lodge, Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce. He retired from Sperry Flour Co. and spent his later retirement years in Salt Lake City.He is survived by two sons, March E. and Ben Browning Hopkins, both of Helena Montana, two daughters, Zona Cushman (Mrs. Jack), Salt Lake City, and Ruby Gratiot (Mrs. Gordon R.), Bountiful; 14 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren. A son, Steven, died in 1960.

His survivors will honor his request for an intimate gathering of close friends and family on Saturday, January 5 at 10:45 A.M. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South.
