Police on Wednesday were still trying to find the baby sitter of a Midvale boy who was seriously injured last week.

Brandon Patrick Osuileabhain, 2, remained in critical condition Wednesday in Primary Children's Medical Center.Midvale Police Sgt. Tim Start said the toddler suffered severe head injuries while being tended at home in the Second East block of Center Street.

"We really don't know how (Brandon) was injured. We'd like to talk to the baby sitter," Start said.

The baby sitter, 16, fled the home after Brandon's father returned home Friday shortly after 9 p.m. The young man hasn't been seen since.

The father found his son unconscious and took him to a local hospital. A helicopter transported the child to Primary Children's.
