Iva Hanks Steck, age 73, died November 23, 1990, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.

Born to Perry Adelbert and Iva Gollaher Hanks, May 25, 1917, in Magna, Utah. Married Fred A. Steck, November 24, 1946; he died September 26, 1987. She and her husband had been long time residents of Aztec, New Mexico, until 1976, when they retired to Rio Rancho. Mrs. Steck had served for 18 years as city clerk and two years as city manager of Aztec.Survived by one daughter, Eileen Hare, Farmington, New Mexico; three sons, Fred A. Steck, Jr. and wife, Trish, Lubbock, Texas; Andy Steck and wife, Survived by one daughter, Eileen Hare, Farmington, New Mexico; three sons, Fred A. Steck, Jr. and wife, Trish, Lubbock, Texas; Andy Steck and wife, Survived by one daughter, Eileen Hare, Farmington, New Mexico; three sons, Fred A. Steck, Jr. and wife, Trish, Lubbock, Texas; Andy Steck and wife, Kathy, Los Alomos, New Mexico; Heber Steck, Altus, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; brother, Delbert Hanks and wife, Katie, Malad, Idaho; sister, Bernice Hanks Cox and husband, George, Salt Lake. Preceded in death by two brothers, Floyd E. Hanks, Mart Hanks.

Memorial Services were held November 27th in Rio Rancho.
