George Fredrick Adams, age 63, died Sunday December 30, 1990 in Salt Lake City.
Born November 16, 1927 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George Winfield and Sarah Jane Humphrey Adams. Married Mary Louise Starkey December 31, 1956 in Elko, Nevada. She passed away July 7, 1963. He had been a heavy equipment opperator for many years. He was reared and educated in Layton, Utah. He had lived in Provo, and lived in Salt Lake City for the past 16 years. Graduated from Davis High School, attended Weber State University. Member of the LDS Church. Enjoyed collecting antiques and old bottles. Fred was an extremely intelligent man, with a passion for living who surmounted many difficulties in life. He was dearly loved, and will be missed by his children and grandchildren. He was a veteran serving with the US Marine Corp.Surviving are two sons and one daughter, Benjamin W. Adams, Logan; Theodore J. Adams, Salt Lake City; Trixie J. Schliesser, Vernal; four grandchildren. He was raised as an only child. Preceded in death by his wife.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 2 p.m. at the Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, where friends may call on Thursday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery where military honors will be accorded.
