Alpine Meadows of Tahoe, which has the Park City Ski Area among its holdings, has reported a loss of $4,562,000, or $1.21 per share, for the first six months of its 1991 fiscal year.
Revenues and other income for the six months ended Dec. 1, 1990, reached $4,948,000, the company said.One year earlier, Alpine Meadows posted a six-month loss of $5,211,000, or $1.38 per share, from revenues of $3,931,000.
Nick Badami, chairman of the board of Alpine Meadows, said the company's combined ticket sales at its resorts through Dec. 15, 1990, were about 4 percent ahead of last year.
For its second quarter also ended Dec. 1, Alpine Meadows reported revenues of $3,029,000, which resulted in a loss of $2,935,000, or 78 cents per share. A year ago the company recorded a second-quarter loss of $2,705,000, or 72 cents per share, from revenues of $2,952,000.
