A Salt Lake woman told police she was raped by at least four different men Saturday, some of whom also assaulted her and threatened to kill her.

The 23-year-old woman said she was at a downtown bar waiting for her boyfriend when she was invited to a nearby apartment to drink some beers. As she entered the apartment, she said the lights were turned off and four men raped her, according to a police report. The landlord of the apartments at 222 W. 300 South knocked on the door and ordered everyone out after she received complaints of too much noise. The landlord said there were several men and a woman in the apartment. Two men then agreed to walk the woman home.

As the three reached a nearby alleyway, one of the men assaulted her, knocked her to the ground and forced her to perform a sex act. The men ran away after someone in a nearby apartment yelled at them, a report said.

The "hysterical" woman then ran into the street to flag down a taxi as police officers arrived. Doctors at Holy Cross Hospital examined the woman and found indications that she had been raped, according to a search warrant.

Officers later served a search warrant at the apartment and seized several items to be analyzed for evidence. No arrests have been made.
