Joseph Gwynne Wilson, 87, of Logan, died Sunday, December 30, 1990 at the Sunshine Terrace in Logan.

He was born June 27, 1903 in River Heights, Utah, a son of Joseph Waterhouse and Rebecca Bullock Wilson. He married Norma Elizabeth Cowley, August 7, 1929 in the Logan LDS Temple. He attended Logan City Schools and Brigham Young College in Logan. He was an auto mechanic for many years, employed at Wilson Motor Co. He was a High Priest in the Logan LDS 3rd Ward, at the time of his death. He was a home teacher and had served with the Boy Scouts of America, Cache Valley Council.Survivors include his wife, Logan; four sons and one daughter, Deloy Gwynne Wilson, Salt Lake City; Janeth Norma Stevens, Kaysville; Gordon Cowley Wilson, Longmont, Colorado; Brent Joseph Wilson, Rohnert Park, California; Alan Cowley Wilson, Logan; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Le Moyne Wilson, River Heights; Maude W. Spatig, Preston, Idaho. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Verla and Loretta.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 12 Noon, in the Logan Ward Chapel, 400 West 250 North, with Bishop Robert T. Owens conducting. Friends may call at the church 10-11:30 a.m. Interment: Logan City Cemetery.
