Universal Studios has unveiled plans for a $100 million expansion of its famed tour to include "E.T.'s Adventure," "A Tribute to Lucy," new special effects stages, video production stages, restaurants and shops.

The studio also announced a conceptual change with an all-new tram ride and futuristic Universal Star-way people-mover stretching over a quarter mile to areas of the studio previously inaccessible to the public.The new $36 million "E.T. Adventure" will be housed in Hollywood's largest soundstage, while in another new building the public will see a huge collection of memorabilia of the late comedy star Lucille Ball.
