The Eagles ended 1990 with an 11-3 loss to the Fort Wayne Komets.

The 11 goals were the most scored against the Eagles this season.With the loss the Eagles fell to 19-17-2. Fort Wayne increased its record to 20-13-3.

Salt Lake started fast as Kerry Clark scored two goals. But after that it was all Fort Wayne as the Komets scored three goals to end the period and then put the contest out of reach in the second period by scoring five unanswered goals.

The Eagles' final goal was scored 3:22 into the third period by Marc Bureau, his team-leading 23rd goal of the season.

The Eagles are off until Friday when they are at Peoria. They return home for a three game homestand beginning Saturday against San Diego.
