An open house for retiring Davis County Treasurer Pauline McBride is scheduled 2-4 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, in the commission chambers of the Davis County Courthouse in Farmington.

McBride is concluding a 20-year career with the county, retiring after 12 years as treasurer and eight years as chief deputy. She chose not to run for re-election in November.During her administration, the county's tax records were computerized and the operation of the office was streamlined, modernizing the county's collection and distribution of tax funds.

McBride is a lifelong Syracuse resident, attended Utah State University and took a variety of courses through her career to broaden her financial and administrative background. She is a member of the Utah Association of County Treasurers; International Association of Clerks, Recorders, Election Officials and Treasurers; and the National Association of Finance Officers.
