Colleen Coray Bitter, age 59, died December 25, 1990 at her home in Salt Lake City, of cancer.

Born June 2, 1931 in Payson, Utah to Sidney and Hazel Peery Coray. Married to Dean West Bitter on March 7, 1959. Graduated from Payson High School; attended BYU and graduated from the University of Utah. She taught in the Salt Lake School System as a speech and hearing therapist working primarily with hard-of-hearing children. Active member of the LDS Church.Survivors, her husband; two daughters, Zerinda Bitter and Annabelle Bitter; two sons, David Coray Bitter and his wife, Tracy; and Benjamin Coray Bitter; one granddaughter, Chloe; all of Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Helen) Bean, St. George; and Mrs. Charles (Dianne) Tate, Orem; three brothers, Dale Coray, Payson; Gene Coray, Nephi; and Max Coray, Honolulu, Hawaii. Preceded in death by a brother, Warren Coray.

Funeral services on Saturday, December 29th, at 12 noon, Douglas Ward Chapel, 721 South 1200 East. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, on Friday evening 6-8 pm, and at the Ward on Saturday, one hour prior to services. Interment, Mount Olivet Cemetery.
