Virginia Hardy Fowles, age 81, died December 24, 1990, in the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital.
Born November 10, 1909, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Roland R. and Louisa Green Hardy. She married Delpen A. Fowles November 19, 1929, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He preceded her in death June 2, 1990. She was a member of the LDS Church, Union Pacific Old Timers Club #33, and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Engineers Auxiliary, and past-president of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers Auxiliary.She is survived by: her children, Roland C. Fowles, Milford; Arden and Carla Fowles, Diamond Springs, Calif.; Douglas and Myrlene Fowles, Sacramento, Calif.; Mary Louise Larsen, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Eugene (Patsy A.) Johnson, Milford; Mrs. Richard A. (Lois Jean) Bracken, Price; 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two brothers, John R. Hardy, Milford; Eugene Hardy, Salt Lake City; two sisters, Mrs. Ross (Catherine) Plant, Salt Lake City; Grace Mathison, San Diego, Calif.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., in the Milford City Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Olpin Mortuary in Milford. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to the Milford Valley Memorial Hospital, Milford, Utah, 84751.
