Joan Ardis LeFevre, 55, died Christmas Eve, 1990, at LDS Hospitalafter a lingering illness.

Born June 11, 1935 in Sandy, Utah, the first daughter of John Alphonso and Valora Allsop LeFevre. Graduate, Jordan High School, and Stevens-Henegar Business College. Devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Served as a missionary in France and Belgium. Loved working with children, especially Handicapped Primary; was volunteer worker, Primary Children's Medical Center. Member, Utah-California Women'sAssn. Southern California resident 24 years. Legal secretary and paralegal in California and Utah, most recently with Kennecott CopperCorp. (BP Minerals).Survivors: brothers and sisters, and spouses, Gaylen Jack and Ranae LeFevre, South Ogden, Utah; L. Don and Bonnie LeFevre, Bountiful, Utah; Maris and Duane Olson, Crescent, Utah, and Richard J. LeFevre, Salt Lake City; 15 nieces and nephews, numerous grand-nieces andnephews.

Funeral services Friday, December 28, at noon, Larkin Mortuary, 260 East. South Temple, Salt Lake City, where friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday one hour prior to the service. Burial, Sandy City Cemetery.
