David Edwin Todd, a Millbrae resident for 34 years, died Saturday, December 15, 1990 at his home. He was 74.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, of pioneer stock, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1938 from the University of Utah. He was a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation from January 1942-1971. He was Research Director for the Pacific Legal Foundation from 1973-1988. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy; five children, Katherine Todd Lubin, Statin Island, New York; Anne Henderson, Burlingame, Calif.; Stephen Todd, Fairfield; Jane Todd, Portland, Oregon; Ruth Assily, El Sobrante; seven grandchildren; a brother, George K. Todd, Cheyenne, Wyoming. Preceded in death by a son, John Robert in 1990.

Funeral services, under the direction of Crosby `n Gray, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the LDS chapel at 975 Sneath lane, San Bruno.
